Dane, Ransom, and I are on the road working on raising our budget. We’ve been visiting with Dane’s family first, staying the first part of our trip in Princeton, Indiana with his grandmother. Let me just tell you, she is the most precious, godly woman, and definitely knows how to spoil her guests. We had so much good home cooking while we were there, not to mention she called most of the family in the area so we would be able to visit with them and share our hearts for Southern Asia. We are so grateful for the love and support of this beautiful example of walking with Jesus.

We left her house in Princeton, and headed north to stay with Dane’s sister and brother-in-law, Dani and Tim, in North Webster, IN. We are smack dab in the middle of Amish territory here. In TX we have bike lanes on the side of the road. Here, they have horse and buggy lanes…and they are everywhere. We went to a grocery store with designated carriage parking, and picked up some homemade goodies to bring back home. Dani took us berry picking today with the boys and we had so much fun. The weather was so nice out, and the berries were incredible. Here’s some pics we snapped.

That’s corn behind them…and yes, it’s everywhere.

Jaiden was playing hard to get with the camera, but I managed to snag this gem.

And this about sums up the day with Jeremiah, but in his defense, he wasn’t feeling well.

They don’t grow em like this in TX! Best. Berries. Ever.

The boys were so curious about her weighing them.

The weather has been nice and cool the whole time we’ve been here, and it’s so green. I have to say, I’m quite impressed with Indiana. We’ll be sad to leave in a couple days, but we are looking forward to the rest of our trip, and thankful for the Lord’s faithfulness to provide. Please continue to pray for us as we travel.

  1. So glad y’all are enjoying this time. I love how God puts it all together! I was awake praying for y’all and your trip this morning. Then I get up and here’s an update! Cool! Trusting the rest of this time is profitable and encouraging.
